Crafty Hour: BAD ART CLUB EDITION

Hey Crafters! Let's get mischievous this October and mix things up! We're still on for some Saturday afternoon creativity, but we're moving things to Pita Jungle and trying something new: Bad Art Club.
As adults we are taught to suppress our creativity, but I truly believe we are all creative beings. Let's break the ice by making bad art on purpose. No pressure, no perfectionism. Just raw, weird, funny, low-stakes creations. I'll provide paper, magazines for collage, markers, pencils, stickers, and glue sticks from my personal stash. Your goal is to make something objectively 'bad' and laugh while doing it. Of course, you are still welcome to bring your own craft of choice. Remember anything portable and somewhat tidy as to be considerate of our host restaurant. Think diamond art, fiber arts (embroidery, crochet, knitting), coloring books, and digital art. These are just a few projects that are welcome but don’t feel limited to them. Just use some common sense and leave the loose glitter at home 😉
The Pita Jungle at Desert Ridge has an open layout and large windows with ideal lighting. It might even be cool enough to sit outside! Plus they have a large drink list, full bar, and huge menu, so come hungry (and thirsty). This event is drop-in, but let me know if you won't be arriving at the start time. We'll save you a seat!
Note on Event Fee: Since we've had so many new faces, I wanted to touch on the event fee. A lot of time and effort goes into hosting these events. The $1 event fee goes directly to the host as a small way to help cover the behind-the-scenes planning, maintenance, and coordination that goes into keeping these events running smoothly! Please bring $1 to the event. Payment can be made in cash or sent via Zelle.
