What we’re about
The Desert Rose Belly Dancing Hafla Group is a group for bellydancers and shimmiers. Our meetups will consist of dancers dancing to arab/tribal/etc. music in a casual and impromptu way (think of a super fun dance circle). For those who are new- hafla is an Arabic word for a social or party. So we're having a belly dancing party!
The goal of our haflas is to celebrate life and joy through artful expression and dancing.
This group is open to all - newbies, beginners and advanced dancers alike, dancers of any gender. Please be age 18+.
