What we’re about
Welcome to Desi Society — a fresh social‑mixer in Singapore bringing together open‑minded folks who enjoy good drinks, great conversation and a little desi flavour.
What we do:
• Monthly evening social events in central Singapore — casual, friendly, fun.
• Our signature format: we start with a drink at your table, chat for ~20‑25 minutes, then rotate to a new table / new group. Repeat. By the end of the night you’ll have met multiple people with ease.
• Indian/ South‑Asian‑culture influenced themes, music & drinks — but everyone is welcome. Whether you’re Indian, non‑Indian, expat or local — if you like socialising and new friends, you’ll fit in.
• Pay a small ticket/entry fee that covers venue reservation + one drink token + event coordination (so we keep it organised, comfortable and fun).
Who it’s for:
• 25‑45 year‑olds (professionals, grads, creatives) looking to expand their social circle.
• People who are new to Singapore, or locals/expats wanting fresh connections.
• Not a heavy party‑club event: we’re about meaningful socialising with structure and ease.
Why join:
• Meet more people than in a typical bar night thanks to the “rotate‑tables” format.
• Desi‑themed drinks, music and ambience = unique social flavour.
• Friendly hosts, reserved area to ensure you’re not lost in the crowd.
