How Building Helped ‘Shield our Heroes’
Building, prototyping, and getting your ideas in front of people is a key skill for healthcare designers. But let’s be honest. That process can be messy. In a time of uncertainty and shifting constraints, we need to get uncomfortable and become open to new ways of building and learning along the way.
We’re excited to hear how IDEO Designers Prat Ganapathy, Jason Wilkins, and Andy Deakin worked together on the 'Shield Our Heroes' (https://www.gofundme.com/f/rghg3a-shield-our-heroes) project. Learn how they improved PPE design and built quickly by stepping out of their comfort zone and embracing their ability to fail fast.
This talk will highlight their ‘build to think’ mantra and peel the curtain back on a process that can be applied to design initiatives under tight deadlines and material constraints.
