Hands-on Innovation Challenge
Are you new to Human-Centered Design (HCD) or looking for a great project to exercise your creative thinking skills? Join us for an Intro to Design Thinking workshop and you’ll have a blast hanging out with our fabulous community too!
Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that integrates the needs of people, technology, and business to solve complex problems and, often, do what hasn’t been done before.
We’ll explore the challenges and possibilities of co-creating with a group of peers using one of the DC Council issues as inspiration, biker and pedestrian safety in the DC area, for a 1-day design thinking experience. You'll learn the basic process in a supportive learning environment as you rethink the way we approach biker and pedestrian safety in the DC area.
Date & Time: Saturday Dec 8, 10am-3pm
Location: Enterprise Knowledge
Cost: $30 – Lunch and workshop materials included
This workshop is limited to 35 participants
