Rust Community Meet and Conference Report - Ann Arbor

Come to the Detroit Rust meetup - Ann Arbor edition! Hang out, talk Rust, network, or just code and crack jokes.

Part of the reason for the gap since the last meetup is that I've been traveling a ton for work, much of it Rust-related! I went to RustNation UK in February and Rust In Paris in March (as well as Embedded World). I've also been involved in the Rust Safety Critical Consortium as part of the Rust Foundation. I'll be giving a little 'state of the community' conference report as a result of my experiences.

For the AA meetup, we'll be in Meeting Room B of the Westgate location of the Ann Arbor District Library. There's a Sweetwaters Cafe in the building that's open late so some snacks and coffee is available. The conference room we'll be in has a TV for sharing content, so if anyone wants to share a project or give a mini-talk please reach out!
