The history and future of Containers

Abstract (what is the talk about?)
Containers are pretty ubiquitous in modern software deployments and are a standard part of a developer's toolkit. The talk will walk through the speaker's personal experiences from building their first container in 2008 to deploying hundreds in 2022. In this talk, we will go on a journey from the humble beginnings of the container to how it conquered the world and what lies in the future.

Bio (who are you?)
Pk is a Principal Engineer at Sahaj with interests in DevOps, Data Engineering, and Complex back-end systems. Pk has been writing software professionally since 2004 and enjoys building and deploying distributed solutions that help solve problems at scale. He is a passionate proponent of Open Source Software and enjoys contributing to the building blocks of modern software. He is also an avid wildlifer and when he is not typing away on his keyboard, you'll find him photographing wildlife all over India and Australia.

Anyone with interests in containers. From entry-level to seasoned devs.
