For this edition of Devday, our speaker Tanveer will walk you through the development of a truly reactive asynchronous application using Reactive Programming. You will be introduced to event-driven programming and how RxJava can be used to develop event-driven applications. The talk will further delve into a comparison between imperative programming and reactive programming with examples that offer a peek into the basic streaming functions of RxJava. Finally, there will be a live demo to wrap things up.
Even though the event is being held offline, we'll be providing a link so that people can also connect remotely.
About the speaker:
Tanveer is a Solution Consultant at Sahaj. He started his career as a Big Data Developer working on various ETL projects involving technologies like Hadoop, HBase, Hive and Spark. After spending 5 years as a big data developer he transitioned to become a full-stack developer by shifting his interests towards micro-services and system design. He also has 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer. His passions lie in designing event-driven distributed applications using reactive programming.
