This is a group targeted to engineers (both dev and ops), tech professionals, managers, leads, architects and entrepreneurs coming together to learn about and share information on DevOps processes, tools, practices and benefits.
Note: Due to construction, we're meeting at a different location than usual. Do not go to SPS Commerce - you won't find the meetup there. To reach TASC, come to the third floor at the Fifth Street Towers, 100 building.
Serverless! The mere word evokes complex questions, like "why?" and "how?" and "aren't there still servers somewhere?" (Yes, of course, but you don't have to log into, configure, or patch them!)
Consistent and automated software deployments with Knative
Solving business challenges for developers is easier when they are less burdened by infrastructure plumbing decisions. Operations teams benefit when deployments are more consistent and automated across all the development teams. Knative promises to bring serverless deployment consistency to developers and operations teams on top of K8s.
This talk will explore Knative and its components for codifying common patterns in software delivery and operations.
