Horrors in Dev: A Spooktacular Evening for Technology Goblins and Ghouls

Details

We’re thrilled to bring you the third event of Spooktober: Horrors in Software Development & Testing! Prepare for a Halloween-themed evening of spine-chilling software challenges at the AWS Skills Center, where we’ll confront the “monsters” lurking in your SDLC processes.
Calling all tech goblins, ghouls, and QA wizards—this spooktacular event is your chance to slay the technology demons that haunt your workflows!

What to Expect:

  • Haunting Stories: Real-world horror tales of software projects gone wrong and the lessons learned to avoid these nightmares.
  • Ghostly Giveaways: Come dressed in your best monster costume for a chance to win prizes! Plus, share your most creative bug stories for an extra chance at victory.
  • Lightning Strikes Mad Scientists: Hear from experts who have braved the darkest corners of the SDLC and lived to tell their chilling tales.
  • Ghastly Refreshments: Sink your fangs into spooky snacks and devilishly delicious drinks to complete the eerie atmosphere.

Special thanks to our sponsor, Inflectra, for providing the screams, prizes, and delectable refreshments!

And of course AWS Skills Center for hosting us. Be sure to keep their other events on your radar!

Costumes are highly encouraged, but not required—let's see if your coding skills are scarier than your costume!

Don’t miss out on this hair-raising evening!
