Speaker Bio:

Judd's been eyeball-deep in Internet technology and Free Software since before he joined Netscape in the 1990s.He's done enterprise sales engineering, tons of Perl hacking, and had a 10 year ride as an Identity Management subject matter expert for a variety of small to enormous firms.

Judd made a big change after his three years as third level support for the NYSE's identity management infrastructure back in the mid 2000s.

He saw that operations automation was the key to product velocity and business success, and that technologists were quickly becoming the business drivers. Now he's joined the Crowbar team at Dell, hacking lots of Ruby and Chef and is loving connecting
with the community on the creative, big ideas that are driving DevOps,
cloud services, and Free software.
