Summary
This session will examine DevOps methodologies and their implementation within Amazon Web Services (AWS). The session encompasses AWS developer tooling and infrastructure automation capabilities. Participants will explore the fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. The session concludes with an in-depth analysis of deployment strategies optimized for Kubernetes environments.

About the Speakers
Julian Patterson: Julian is a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a decade of experience in cloud architecture and implementation. Based in Switzerland, he brings a unique dual perspective to enterprise solutions, having spent eight years leveraging AWS services as a customer before transitioning to his current role as an AWS Solutions Architect. His expertise spans cloud computing, enterprise architecture, with a particular focus on building resilient solutions and testing those solutions with Chaos Engineering.
Florian Müller: Florian is a Product Lead for AI Engineering at Kuehne+Nagel. He has experience in distributed computing, big data processing and machine learning (ML) with an emphasis on deploying and maintaining ML models in production (MLOps).
