[Hack Session] Contributing to open source projects

Gear up for a focused Hack Session as we come together to contribute to DevStaff Draw Tool! With a team that knows the ropes and a shared passion for innovation, this is our chance to make meaningful progress and push the project that gives us free licenses and t-shirts to the next level! Bring your ideas, energy, and expertise—let’s build something great together!

More specifically we will work in repo: https://github.com/devstaff-crete/devstaff-draw

Starting with a small introduction on:

• How can you find open source projects and open issues in GitHub?
• How forks and PRs work to contribute to other repos you don't have write access to?
• Overview of the Draw Tool repo

Then we will have discussion on the open issues that we thing would be meaningful ( feel free to prepare your own suggestions based on your skills ), some examples are:

• Create Dockerfile and Docker Compose to ease up setup
• Make url link randomized
• Add card with devstaff logo

Do you have a change that you want to test and are not sure? This isn’t about rushing to make PRs or closing issues—it’s about diving into the work, exploring solutions, and truly understanding the challenges!
