ASP.NET Core: Introduction and Building an API (part 1 of 3)

.NET Core is .NET, the next generation: fast, cross-platform and open source. ASP.NET Core is Microsoft's new framework for building web apps, cloud apps and APIs.

On this evening, we'll introduce you to this new framework, and you'll learn how to build a great API with it.

Note that this is session 1 of a total of 3 sessions we'll deliver on ASP.NET Core.

In the second session (date TBA), Wesley Cabus will show you how to build an ASP.NET Core MVC application that consumes that API.

In the third session (date TBA), Wesley and Kevin will show you how to secure both the web app & API, using OAuth2, OpenID Connect & IdentityServer4.
