Hi Friends from DFW and Beyond!

Welcome to Balancing Energy and Blood Sugars at Social Events, an interactive online workshop about nutrition during the holidays and all attended social events.

Purpose: We celebrate many special occasions throughout the year and many of these occasions include lots of great food and beverages. For those who are trying to "eat right," this can cause moments of guilt, anxiety, and confusion. What are the sources of these emotions? Is it possible to still enjoy the foods and drinks we love at these events without setbacks or the associated-negative emotional connections?

Objectives:

  • To learn about the body's hormone regulations in connection with specific nutrients
  • To uncover hidden challenges and habits
  • To navigate difficult conversations with family and friends
  • To increase control, build confidence, reframe thoughts, and make wiser decisions when eating around friends and family at social gatherings
  • To manage blood sugars while simultaneously balance your mood and energy levels

Participation in story and idea sharing is encouraged, however, it is not required :)
