DFW Pythoneers Main Monthly Meeting - Guest Speaker Andrew Minkin

Welcome. We're a friendly group for those who program using the Python language as well as those wanting to learn it. We try hard to be beginner friendly as well as cover advanced material.

If you are new to Python, you are invited to attend the Beginner's Session starting at 6pm. If you are interested in mentoring new Python developers, you are also welcome to attend this hour.

Core topic starting at 7 PM. Advanced Analytics with ScipPy, StatsModel & SimPy Machine Learning has been the most popular type of Advanced analytics in popular culture.This lecture and demo will introduce you to the triumverate of advanced analytics: prediction, optimization and simulation.

Drew Minkin is currently a Data Science Instructor and Curriculum Developer at Divergence Academy. His first coding was done in 1998 on 4D with his first report being written in PostScript. He started using Python in 2015. Prior to this he's worked at ATT, Pepsi, Gainsco and AMD as a data scientist/analytics architect and an entrepreneur with four different startups (and three exits) of experience in the last 15 years.
