DFW Pythoneers - Transformer Workflow by Terry Wu
Details
Welcome. We're a friendly group for those who program using the Python language as well as those wanting to learn it. We try hard to be beginner friendly as well as cover advanced material.
Social hour starting at 6pm.
Our normal meeting will start at 7pm.
We will follow the technical dataflow inside a GPT-style Transformer from prompt text to the next token, calling out where algorithm design vs. compute core carry the load.
Terry Wu is a fullstack engineer and enthusiasm focused on LLM systems, GPU optimization, and end-to-end application pipelines. He works across Python, PyTorch, MLX, and full-stack toolchains to build agent-based architectures. Terry experiments with local inference stacks, GPU hardware, and model internals. Based in Dallas, also toys with crypto.
This be an in-person event
