DFW Pythoneers - Learn Lumbergh - Agents Orchestration by Jim Vogel
Details
Welcome. We're a friendly group for those who program using the Python language as well as those wanting to learn it. We try hard to be beginner friendly as well as cover advanced material.
Social hour starting at 6pm.
Our normal meeting and talk will start at 7pm.
You finally have AI coding agents that can write real code. So you spin up three, four, five of them in parallel — and immediately lose track of what any of them are doing. Terminal tabs don't scale. You can't see diffs without context-switching. You definitely can't check on them from your phone. You've become a manager with no visibility into your direct reports. Enter Lumbergh — an open-source, self-hosted web dashboard for supervising multiple Claude Code sessions running in tmux. Named after the quintessential micromanager from Office Space, it gives you a single pane of glass to watch your AI interns, review their diffs in real time, and intervene before they go off the rails.
Jim Vogel has been running multiple AI coding agents in parallel for months and built Lumbergh to keep them honest. In this talk, he'll walk through the architecture and the interesting Python that makes it tick
This be an in-person event
