DFW Pythoneers Meeting - Neo4j Blazing-fast Graph DB - Guest Speaker M. Ryan

Details
Welcome. We're a friendly group for those who program using the Python language as well as those wanting to learn it. We try hard to be beginner friendly as well as cover advanced material.
If you are new to Python, you are invited to attend the Beginner's Session starting at 6pm. If you are interested in mentoring new Python developers, you are also welcome to attend this hour.
Michael Ryan from Neo4j will be showcasing airplane route optimization using Neo4j's blazing fast graph database. Michael will take the example of air traffic and examine the fastest route using yen’s k shortest path algorithm. He will demo with a Jupyter notebook, how to explore, clean and analyze a route and airport dataset. And then walk through how to apply Data Science algorithms on the Graph Database to find the shortest paths between locations.
- Michael Ryan is an Engineer at Neo4j. Michael received his MS in Operations Research and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. At Neo4j, Michael's work spans working with machine learning models, demonstrating the value of graph databases, and enabling people with the skills of how to use a graph database.
- Our normal meeting will start at 7pm.
This will be a hybrid event (in-person at Improving and online via zoom)
