Making friends as an adult shouldn’t be this hard, that’s why we started DFW Young & Social! This group is all about making it easier to meet new people, try new things, and build real connections. No membership fees, no pressure. Just fun, welcoming events where you can show up, be yourself, and connect with great people.

Improv Games & Workshop | Free/Pay What You Can
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USJoin us for a playful and low-pressure Improv Games and Workshop focused on creativity, collaboration, and having fun together.
This session features simple improv games and group exercises designed to be welcoming for all experience levels, with active participation limited to ten people so everyone has space to jump in and enjoy the experience. Observers are welcome to watch, laugh along, and soak in the energy while we keep the group size manageable.
This is a free, pay what you can event, and your support helps us continue offering accessible and creative community programming each month.

Discover what comes next for the Wardens of the Veil and for the Emperium in this closing chapter of the campaign. You do not need to have played any previous sessions to jump in. As long as you know how to build a character you are ready to play, new and newer players are welcome at the table.- Price: $20 per person + 9% fee
- Tuesdays: September 8, 22 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Fridays: September 11, 18, 25 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturdays: September 19 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM | September 12, 19, 26 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Capacity: Limited to 7 per session | Walk ins are not guaranteed, register in advance

Potluck Social: Trivia, Karaoke, and Board Games
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USBring a dish, bring your competitive side, and bring your best karaoke voice.
Every second Friday we kick off with a trivia round, roll into open karaoke, and keep the board games going all night. It is a laid back evening built around good food, good company, and however much fun you want to have. Show up, eat well, and stay as long as you like.
Expectations: Everyone is required to bring a dish or drink to share, whether it’s store-bought or homemade.
Schedule:
- 7:30 PM: Doors open, Potluck & Board the rest of the night
- 7:45 PM to 8:30 PM: Trivia (paper answer sheets, questions displayed on screen)
- 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Karaoke Begins
Price: FREE | Showing up and sharing a meal should always be free. If you are able to toss in a $5 donation to help cover the behind-the-scenes costs, like music licensing, we appreciate it, it is what keeps nights like this going.

Saturday Morning Zumba | Free / Pay What You Can
DFW Young & Social, 2309 Springlake Rd, Suite 600, Farmers Branch, tx, USStart your weekend with music, movement, and good vibes. Our Zumba class is upbeat, beginner-friendly, and full of energy—no experience required. Wellness should be something everyone can access, no matter their budget.
These classes are free, so cost isn’t a barrier, and if you’re able to contribute, your support helps keep them going strong:
- $5 Covers the cost of one person in class,
- $5–$9 Helps sustain our free / pay-what-you-can model and pays it forward for someone else,
- $10+ Supports the space, keeps things accessible, and helps our community grow,
We don’t expect anyone to contribute every time. A little here and there truly goes a long way.
