Salsa Dance Class for Young Adults

Ready to sample some Salsa?

Fast-paced, flirty, fun, and danceable to hundreds of today's top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket!

You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the classes, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.

Beginner or Level 1 (7:00pm):
If you've never danced Salsa before, or if you don't feel confident about your steps yet, don't worry—this class is designed so that you can drop in comfortably even if you haven't joined us before. Each class covers new material, and it's all beginner friendly!

Intermediate or Level 2 (6:00pm):
Ready to take your salsa skills to the next level? Join our intermediate class where you'll build upon your foundation with exciting new moves, techniques, and patterns! Understanding of foundational moves is required for this class. Before class begins, make sure to have a chat with our instructor to ensure you are ready to step up to this level.

Advance or Level 3 (8:00pm):
Are you a seasoned salsa enthusiast looking for a challenge? Join our exclusive advanced salsa class, held after our intermediate session. In this limited-capacity group, we'll delve deep into intricate footwork, and advanced partnering techniques. Please note that admission to this class requires permission and vetting from our instructor. Arrive early to discuss your dance experience, and our instructor will help you "test" into the class to ensure it's the right fit for your skills.

Important Note - Everyone who takes both advanced and intermediate on the same day is able to take the beginner class for free. (Permission required.)

All participants will need to sign waivers before taking the class in person.

Schedule:

• 5:45pm: Check-in and mingle!
• 6:00pm: Intermediate Salsa class starts
• 6:45pm: Check-in for Beginner Salsa
• 7:00pm: Beginner Salsa class starts
• 7:45pm: Check-in for Advance Salsa (Must be cleared by the instructor before joining)
• 8:00pm: Advance Salsa class starts

Class length: 1 hour (per class)
Cost: $12 per person for a single class, or $20 for both levels

We also offer three different class passes! Each pass will be valid for 30 days after purchase. (Applicable to all dance styles.)

• 10 Class Pass for $70
• 6 Class Pass for $45
• 3 Class Pass for $30

Cost of the same-day class can be applied to the cost of a dance pass on the same day you attend the class. Previous classes cannot be retroactively applied.

What to Wear:

Clothing:
There's no formal dress code, but wear something you feel comfortable moving in! Women often wear blouses and jeans, or dresses (if the skirt flares, or is extra short, I recommend shorts underneath!) Men often wear t-shirts and jeans, or button-downs and slacks. Dress up if you like, no pressure if you don't!

Shoes:
Smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option. Women often wear heels, but unless it has an ankle strap, I wouldn't recommend it.

Avoid: Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
