Ten Candles is a tragic horror storytelling game played by candlelight. Ten tea lights set the mood and act as the clock. As they go out one by one, the world closes in, and pieces of your character sheet burn away with them. There is no winning here and no surviving. When the last candle stands alone, every character dies.
What the game is actually about is the hours before that. What people do with the time they have left, what they hold onto, and what they are willing to do for each other in the dark. Every session runs a different scenario with a different threat, so no two tables tell the same story.
No experience needed. Everything will be walked through at the table.
