Spiritual Book Club
Details
We begin with a brief 5-minute silent meditation, followed by introductions and an open group conversation.
Together, we explore passages from Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, a well-known text that presents meditation and awareness in a simple and direct way. Rather than studying the book academically, the gathering focuses on how each participant relates to the ideas in their own way.
Participants are invited to share reflections on selected passages and notice what resonates, what feels unfamiliar, or what sparks curiosity. The emphasis is on open dialogue and different perspectives, rather than reaching a single interpretation.
You do not need to have read the book in advance, and no prior background in meditation or philosophy is required.
This is a small group (8 people) intended for thoughtful, relaxed conversation.
