The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of Madison is one of nearly 700 lay Buddhist groups and centers around the world. Diamond Way Buddhist centers belong to the Karma Kagyu lineage, one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The lecture will be given by Eugene Trak, Diamond Way traveling teacher and student of Lama Ole Nydahl.
Eugene Trak started practicing Diamond Way Buddhism in 1995 after meeting Lama Ole Nydahl in San Francisco. He has since helped establish Buddhist centers in Minnesota, Colorado and California. He currently runs a web design company with his wife, and they live together on the central coast of California and support the activity and development of the Western Retreat Center.
