We are getting together for a morning of hands-on learning to pull back the curtain on what is actually happening beneath our feet here in Nashville. Whether you are a dedicated gardener looking to improve your backyard yield or just someone curious about the ground we walk on every day, this session is meant to give you a clearer picture of our local geology and soil health. We will cover how to interpret your own soil quality and why our specific clay composition behaves the way it does throughout the seasons.
The goal is to move past the generic gardening advice you find online and focus on the practical realities of cultivating life in Middle Tennessee. Expect a casual, conversational environment where we can look at some samples, ask questions, and share what has been working—or not working—in our own patches of earth.
