"Grand Hanami" Osaka Castle Hanami Lunch and Castle Tour

Welcome to Osaka, Digital Nomads, travelers, and locals!
Let's kick off the "Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring" with the ultimate Japanese spring experience: A Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing) Picnic and a historical journey at the iconic Osaka Castle!

Did you know? The man who built Osaka Castle, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, is basically Japan's first "Community Manager."
Starting with nothing, he used unmatched communication skills and networking (through Tea Ceremonies!) to unite the country over 400 years ago.

Inspired by his legendary "Daigo Hanami" (the most lavish cherry blossom party in Japanese history), we are hosting a casual, fun, and culturally deep welcome picnic to connect global nomads with the local community.

What we will do:

  • 11:00 AM: Meet up at The DECK : Our coworking space
  • 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Hanami Picnic under the blooming cherry blossoms! Enjoy a delicious Japanese Bento box, drinks, and great conversations.
  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Osaka Castle Exploration. We will walk up to the castle, learn about the "Hideyoshi Legacy," and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top.

Who is this for? Digital Nomads, expats, travelers, and internationally-minded Japanese locals who want to make new friends and experience the "Deep Osaka."

** Cost & Payment (Please read carefully):** This is a community-driven event.

  • The DECK Monthly Members: FREE participation! (You only pay the actual cost for your own Bento and the Castle Entrance ticket).
  • Non-Members / General: 1,000 JPY (Community Participation Fee) + the actual cost for your Bento and the Castle Entrance ticket.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please bring CASH (Yen) to pay the 1,000 JPY community fee to the organizer on-site. (Note: If you fall in love with our community and decide to become a The DECK Monthly Member on the spot, we will waive the 1,000 JPY fee!)

What to bring:

  • Your biggest smile and an open mind!
