A good model can still produce bad results when something goes wrong upstream.
Jakub, Senior Data Quality Engineer at StreetLight (Jacobs), will look at data quality across the full lifecycle, from ingestion and feature engineering to quality gates, inference and production monitoring. Drawing on his work with large-scale geospatial transportation pipelines, he’ll show how issues such as schema drift, data leakage, train-serve skew and duplicate records appear in practice, and how teams can catch them before release.
🎤 Piotr Menclewicz | Validate hypotheses 10x faster with AI
AI can do much more for analysts than generate a few lines of code.
Piotr will introduce five levels of AI maturity in analytics and show how agentic tools can explore an unfamiliar dataset, develop hypotheses and validate them iteratively. He’ll demonstrate a setup that keeps the analysis traceable and easy to challenge, rather than turning AI into a black box.
He’ll also look at which parts of analytical work are better left to human judgement and how analysts can use AI without giving up control over the process.

Regulamin wydarzenia Digital Pulse by Jacobs
§1 Postanowienia ogólne

1. Niniejszy Regulamin („Regulamin”) określa warunki uczestnictwa w wydarzeniu Digital Pulse by Jacobs, które odbędzie się w biurze Jacobs Kraków, ul. Marii Konopnickiej 31, 30-302 Kraków w dniu 17 września 2026 r. w godzinach od 18:00 do 21:30 („Wydarzenie”).
2. Organizatorem wydarzenia jest CH2M POLSKA SERVICES Sp. z o.o. z siedzibą w Krakowie („Organizator”).
3. Regulamin kierowany jest do wszystkich osób biorących udział w Wydarzeniu zgodnie z Regulaminem („Uczestnicy”). Każdy Uczestnik jest zobowiązany stosować się do postanowień Regulaminu w czasie trwania Wydarzenia.
4. Postanowienia Regulaminu stanowią integralną część zgłoszenia uczestnictwa w Wydarzeniu.
5. Przesłanie formularza rejestracyjnego i uczestnictwo w Wydarzeniu oznacza akceptację postanowień Regulaminu i obowiązek ich przestrzegania. Treść Regulaminu dostępna jest w miejscu Wydarzenia oraz na stronie internetowej https://www.meetup.com/digital-pulse-by-jacobs/events.

§2 Rejestracja na Wydarzenie

1. Rejestracja na Wydarzenie odbywa się poprzez wypełnienie formularza rejestracyjnego dostępnego na stronie internetowej https://www.meetup.com/digital-pulse-by-jacobs/events.
2. Po pomyślnym ukończeniu rejestracji na Wydarzenie, Uczestnik otrzymuje od Organizatora na adres e-mail podany przy rejestracji potwierdzenie dokonania zgłoszenia. W przypadku braku informacji potwierdzającej rejestrację w ciągu 48 godzin od momentu przesłania formularza rejestracyjnego należy skontaktować się z Organizatorem pod adresem e-mail: recruitmentpoland@jacobs.com
3. Rejestracja trwa do 15.09.2026r. lub do osiągnięcia limitu Uczestników. Termin rejestracji może zostać przedłużony przez Organizatora.
4. Wstęp na Wydarzenie jest wolny od opłat.

§3 Zasady udziału w Wydarzeniu

1. Uczestnik biorąc udział w Wydarzeniu zobowiązany jest do zachowania wysokiej kultury osobistej, a w tym do niewygłaszania wypowiedzi, które mogłyby naruszać godność oraz dobra osobiste Organizatora i innych Uczestników. Zachowanie Uczestnika nie może naruszać postanowień Regulaminu.
2. Uczestnik ponosi pełną odpowiedzialność za wszelkie wypowiedzi przedstawione przez niego podczas Wydarzenia. Uczestnik zobowiązuje się przestrzegać autorskich praw majątkowych i osobistych osób trzecich. Uczestnik nie jest uprawniony do utrwalania obrazu lub dźwięku przebiegu Wydarzenia ani ich dalszego udostępnienia lub publikacji.
3. Uczestnik ponosi pełną odpowiedzialność za dokonane przez siebie zniszczenia na terenie obiektu, w którym odbywa się Wydarzenie.
4. Uczestnik zobowiązuje się przestrzegać zasad bezpieczeństwa, w tym ppoż., jak również instrukcji oraz poleceń organizacyjno-technicznych Organizatora.
5. Organizator ma prawo dokonać zmian w programie Wydarzenia na każdym etapie realizacji. Aktualny plan Wydarzenia zostanie umieszczony na stronie internetowej Organizatora.
6. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za zmiany w harmonogramie przebiegu Wydarzenia, w tym w szczególności za powstałe opóźnienia względem założeń programu Wydarzenia.
7. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za zgubione lub w inny sposób utracone lub uszkodzone mienie Uczestnika.
8. Organizator nie odpowiada za niezależne od siebie czynniki losowe mogące mieć wpływ na przebieg lub charakter Wydarzenia.
9. Organizator nie gwarantuje obecności osób wymienionych w programie Wydarzenia jako osoby zaproszone, jak i innych osób, które potwierdziły swoją obecność.
10. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo wyproszenia z Wydarzenia Uczestnika, który swoim działaniem narusza postanowienia Regulaminu lub zasady współżycia społecznego.
11. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do odwołania Wydarzenia lub zmiany jego terminu. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za odwołanie Wydarzenia lub zmiany jego terminu. W przypadku odwołania Wydarzenia lub zmiany jego terminu Organizator poinformuje o tym fakcie zarejestrowanych Uczestników Wydarzenia, za pomocą wiadomości e-mail wysłanych na adresy podane podczas rejestracji oraz na stronie internetowej Organizatora.

§4 Konkurs i nagrody rzeczowe

1. Organizator w trakcie Wydarzenia organizuje konkurs z nagrodami rzeczowymi („Konkurs”). Udział w Konkursie jest dobrowolny.
2. Organizator przewiduje trzy równorzędne nagrody rzeczowe w postaci gadżetów
   z logo Jacobs tj. butelka z filtrem Dafi, torba, notes, długopis, ołówek, brelok do kluczy. („Nagroda”).
3. Warunkiem udziału Uczestnika w Konkursie jest przystąpienie do quizu
   z wykorzystaniem własnego urządzenia mobilnego, posiadającego połączenie
   z Internetem oraz techniczną możliwość skanowania kodu QR.
4. Szczegółowe zasady Konkursu zostaną przedstawione przed jego rozpoczęciem.
5. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za problemy techniczne, skutkujące odwołaniem Konkursu, zmianą jego przebiegu lub przerwaniem.
6. O przyznaniu lub nieprzyznaniu nagrody Organizator decyduje zgodnie z zasadami Konkursu. Liczba Nagród jest ograniczona.
7. Fundatorem Nagród jest Organizator.
8. Odbiór Nagrody następuje w trakcie Wydarzenia.
9. Otrzymane przez Uczestnika Nagrody nie podlegają wymianie.
10. Prawo Uczestnika do Nagrody nie może być przenoszone na rzecz osób i podmiotów trzecich.

§5 Wizerunek

1. Organizator będzie utrwalać przebieg Wydarzenia za pomocą urządzeń rejestrujących obraz w formie relacji fotograficznej - dla celów informacyjnych, dokumentacyjnych, reklamy, promocji Organizatora oraz promocji Wydarzenia i jego archiwizacji.
2. Uczestnik deklarując w Formularzu chęć udziału w Wydarzeniu, wyraża nieograniczoną czasowo, terytorialnie, ilościowo i jakościowo, zgodę na rozpowszechnianie jego wizerunku w celach wskazanych w ust. 1 powyżej, bez prawa do wynagrodzenia z powyższego tytułu, w szczególności poprzez utrwalenie wizerunku Uczestnika na zdjęciach i wykorzystanie tego utrwalenia, obróbkę, powielanie i wielokrotne rozpowszechnianie wizerunku Uczestnika, w szczególności w Internecie, utrwalonego w wyżej wskazany sposób bez konieczności każdorazowego jego zatwierdzania.
3. W związku z wykorzystaniem wizerunku Uczestnik zobowiązuje się, iż nie będzie wykonywane przez niego prawo kontroli i każdorazowego zatwierdzania wykorzystania wizerunku, w materiale z Wydarzenia, w którym został on wykorzystany oraz prawo każdorazowego wskazywania go jako osoby uwidocznionej w materiałach z Wydarzenia, a w szczególności wskazywania jego imienia i nazwiska.

§6 Klauzula informacyjna RODO

1. Zgodnie z art. 13 Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2016/679 z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych i w sprawie swobodnego przepływu takich danych oraz uchylenia dyrektywy 95/46/WE (ogólne rozporządzenie o ochronie danych, dalej „RODO”) Organizator informuje, że:
2. Administratorem danych osobowych Uczestnika jest CH2M POLSKA SERVICES Sp. z o.o. z siedzibą w Krakowie, przy ul. Marii Konopnickiej 31, 31-110 Kraków, nr KRS: 0000572049, NIP: 6751522216.
3. Dane osobowe takie jak imię i nazwisko, dane kontaktowe, wizerunek Uczestnika będą przetwarzane w celu:
4. a) realizacji umowy, której przedmiotem jest udział w Wydarzeniu, a także w celu rejestracji uczestnictwa w Wydarzeniu oraz w celach informacyjnych, dokumentacyjnych, reklamy, promocji Organizatora oraz promocji Wydarzenia oraz archiwizacji, tj. na podstawie art. 6 ust. 1it. b RODO, na postawie umowy zawartej poprzez akceptację Regulaminu.
5. zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa Wydarzenia na podstawie art. 6 ust. 1 lit. d RODO – w odniesieniu do danych z monitoringu wizyjnego.
6. Podanie przez Uczestnika danych osobowych jest konieczne do zawarcia umowy uczestnictwa w Wydarzeniu.
7. Dane osobowe Uczestnika mogą być udostępnione podmiotom uprawnionym do ich odbioru na podstawie powszechnie obowiązujących przepisów prawa.
8. Odbiorcami danych osobowych Uczestnika są podmioty zapewniające wsparcie informatyczne i organizacyjne Organizatora.
9. Organizator jest częścią globalnej grupy kapitałowej Jacobs Solutions Inc. posiadającą serwery na całym świecie, międzynarodowe zespoły oraz struktury raportowania. Gromadzone dane osobowe mogą w związku z tym być udostępniane poza granice Polski, przy czym zapewniamy, że wdrożone zostały stosowne mechanizmy w zakresie międzynarodowego przekazywania danych osobowych w celu ochrony takich informacji. Dane osobowe osób z państw należących do Europejskiego Obszaru Gospodarczego („EOG”) nie są przekazywane poza EOG bez podjęcia kroków zapewniających odpowiedni stopień ochrony danych, w tym w drodze np. zawarcia zatwierdzonych przez UE standardowych klauzul umownych w sprawie przekazywania danych.
10. Dane Uczestnika przechowywane będą przez okres organizacji Wydarzenia oraz do czasu przedawnienia roszczeń mogących wyniknąć z realizacji umowy, o której mowa w ust. 2 lit. a).
11. Dane osobowe Uczestnika w postaci wizerunku mogą zostać utrwalone na zdjęciach z Wydarzenia, zgodnie z § 5 „Wizerunek” Regulaminu.
12. Uczestnik posiada prawo do: uzyskania informacji o przetwarzaniu danych osobowych i uprawnieniach przysługujących zgodnie z RODO, dostępu do treści swoich danych oraz ich sprostowania, a także prawo do usunięcia danych osobowych (chyba że dalsze przetwarzanie jest konieczne dla wykonania obowiązku prawnego albo w celu ustalenia, dochodzenia lub obrony roszczeń), oraz prawo do ograniczenia przetwarzania, przenoszenia danych, wniesienia sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania – w przypadkach i na warunkach określonych w RODO.
13. Dane osobowe Uczestnika nie będą przedmiotem automatycznego podejmowania decyzji ani profilowania.
14. Uczestnikowi przysługuje prawo do wniesienia skargi do Prezesa UODO na sposób przetwarzania danych przez Organizatora.

§7 Postanowienia końcowe

1. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do dokonywania zmian w Regulaminie w dowolnym momencie. Zaktualizowania wersja Regulaminu każdorazowo zamieszczona będzie na stronie internetowej Organizatora.
2. W sprawach nieuregulowanych Regulaminem zastosowanie znajdują przepisy prawa powszechnie obowiązującego.
3. W razie nieważności któregokolwiek z postanowień Regulaminu, pozostałe postanowienia nie tracą mocy obowiązującej.

Digital Pulse by Jacobs #2 – Terms & Conditions
§1 General Provisions

1. These Regulations (the “Regulations”) define the conditions of participation in the Digital Pulse by Jacobs event, which will take place at the Jacobs Kraków office, ul. Marii Konopnickiej 31, 30-302 Kraków, on September 17, 2026, from 18:00 to 21:30 (the “Event”).
2. The organizer of the Event is CH2M POLSKA SERVICES Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Kraków (the “Organizer”).
3. The Regulations are addressed to all persons participating in the Event in accordance with these Regulations (the “Participants”). Each Participant is required to comply with the provisions of the Regulations during the Event.
4. The provisions of the Regulations constitute an integral part of the registration for participation in the Event.
5. Submission of the registration form and participation in the Event constitutes acceptance of the provisions of the Regulations and the obligation to comply with them. The content of the Regulations is available at the Event venue and on the website: https://www.meetup.com/digital-pulse-by-jacobs/events

§2 Registration for the Event

1. Registration for the Event takes place by completing the registration form available on the website: https://www.meetup.com/digital-pulse-by-jacobs/events
2. After successful completion of registration for the Event, the Participant will receive confirmation of registration from the Organizer at the email address provided during registration. If no confirmation is received within 48 hours from submission of the registration form, the Organizer should be contacted at: recruitmentpoland@jacobs.com
3. Registration will be open until September 15, 2026 or until the participant limit is reached. The registration deadline may be extended by the Organizer.
4. Participation in the Event is free of charge.

§3 Rules of Participation in the Event

1. By participating in the Event, the Participant is obliged to maintain a high standard of personal conduct, including refraining from making statements that could violate the dignity and personal rights of the Organizer or other Participants. A Participant’s conduct may not violate the provisions of these Regulations.
2. The Participant bears full responsibility for any statements made during the Event. The Participant undertakes to respect the economic and moral copyrights of third parties. The Participant is not authorized to record the image or sound of the Event or to further distribute or publish such recordings.
3. The Participant bears full responsibility for any damage caused by them at the venue where the Event takes place.
4. The Participant undertakes to comply with safety regulations, including fire safety rules, as well as the Organizer’s organizational and technical instructions.
5. The Organizer has the right to make changes to the Event program at any stage. The current Event agenda will be posted on the Organizer’s website.
6. The Organizer shall not be liable for changes to the Event schedule, including in delays with respect to the Event program.
7. The Organizer shall not be liable for any belongings lost, damaged, or otherwise misplaced by the Participant.
8. The Organizer shall not be liable for any random events beyond its control that may affect the course or nature of the Event.
9. The Organizer does not guarantee the presence of people listed in the Event program as invited guests or other people who have confirmed their participation.
10. The Organizer reserves the right to ask any Participant to leave the Event if their conduct violates the provisions of the Regulations or rules of social conduct.
11. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Event or change its date. The Organizer shall not be liable for cancellation or date changes. In the event of cancellation or a change of date, registered Participants will be informed via email sent to the addresses provided during registration and on the Organizer’s website.

§4 Contest and Material Prizes

1. During the Event, the Organizer will hold a contest with material prizes (the “Contest”). Participation in the Contest is voluntary.
2. The Organizer provides three equivalent material prizes in the form of Jacobs-branded gadgets, i.e.: a Dafi filter bottle, bag, notebook, pen, pencil, keychain (the “Prize”).
3. To participate in the Contest, the Participant must take part in a quiz using their own mobile device equipped with internet access and capable of scanning a QR code.
4. Detailed rules of the Contest will be presented before it begins.
5. The Organizer shall not be liable for technical issues resulting in cancellation, changes to the course of, or interruption of the Contest.
6. The awarding or not awarding a Prize shall be decided by the Organizer in accordance with the Contest rules. The number of Prizes is limited.
7. The Organizer is the funder of the Prizes.
8. Prize collection takes place during the Event.
9. Prizes received by Participants are not subject to exchange.
10. The Participant’s right to a Prize may not be transferred to third parties.

§5 Image Rights

1. The Organizer will record the course of the Event using image recording devices in the form of photographic documentation for informational, documentary, advertising and promotional purposes, as well as for promotion and archiving of the Event.
2. By declaring their willingness to participate in the Event in the Registration Form, the Participant grants unlimited consent in terms of time, territory, quantity and quality to the dissemination of their image for the purposes specified in section 1 above, without the right to remuneration, in particular by recording the Participant’s image in photographs and using, editing, reproducing and repeatedly distributing such image, in particular via the Internet, without the need for each instance to be approved.
3. In connection with the use of their image, the Participant undertakes not to exercise the right of control or each-time approval of the use of their image in Event materials in which it has been used, or the right to be identified each time as a person appearing in Event materials, in particular by indicating their name and surname.

§6 GDPR Information Clause

1. In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), the Organizer informs that:
2. The controller of the Participant’s personal data is CH2M POLSKA SERVICES Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Kraków, ul. Marii Konopnickiej 31, 31-110 Kraków, KRS no.: 0000572049, NIP: 6751522216.
3. Personal data such as name and surname, contact details, and the Participant’s image will be processed for the purpose of:
4. performance of the agreement, the subject of which is participation in the Event, as well as for registration for participation in the Event, and for informational, documentary, advertising and promotional purposes of the Organizer and the Event, as well as archiving, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, on the basis of an agreement concluded by accepting the Regulations;
5. ensuring the safety of the Event pursuant to Article 6(1)(d) GDPR – with regard to video monitoring data.
6. Providing personal data by the Participant is necessary to conclude the participation agreement for the Event.
7. The Participant’s personal data may be disclosed to entities authorized to receive them under generally applicable law.
8. Recipients of the Participant’s personal data are entities providing IT and organizational support to the Organizer.
9. The Organizer is part of the global Jacobs Solutions Inc. capital group, with servers worldwide, international teams and reporting structures. Collected personal data may therefore be transferred outside Poland; however, appropriate mechanisms for international data transfers have been implemented to ensure protection of such information. Personal data of people from the European Economic Area (EEA) are not transferred outside the EEA without steps ensuring an adequate level of data protection, including, for example, by entering into EU-approved standard contractual clauses for data transfer.
10. Participant data will be stored for the duration of the Event organization and until the limitation period for claims arising from the performance of the agreement referred to in section 2(a).
11. The Participant’s personal data in the form of image may be recorded in photographs from the Event in accordance with §5 “Image Rights” of these Regulations.
12. The Participant has the right to obtain information about the processing of personal data and the rights granted under GDPR, access to the content of their data and its rectification, as well as the right to erasure (unless further processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of claims), and the right to restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing – in cases and under conditions specified in GDPR.
13. The Participant’s personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
14. The Participant has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) regarding the processing of their data by the Organizer.

§7 Final Provisions

1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time. The updated version of the Regulations will be published each time on the Organizer’s website.
2. Matters not regulated by these Regulations shall be governed by generally applicable provisions of law.
3. If any provision of these Regulations is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
