Social Media Challenge - Team Up & Engage

London is a place that never sleeps. Every day thousands of events take place in the city. If you are organising an event, the biggest challenge you will face is how you are going to stand out of the crowd.
How are you going to use social media to raise awareness about it? What are the steps you need to take in order to make it a smash success? What is the content you need to share around your event and how often should you update your social media? How can you measure success after the event? These are only a few questions that will be answered in the first part of the event from our keynote speakers.
During the second part, teams will be formed and a case study will be presented to each team.
The Speakers:
• Denisa Turkova, Marketing and Communications Specialist, will talk about how to use social media for raising awareness of the events.
• Kaycee Uzougbo, Senior Global Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at Automic Software, will explain more on Social Media Advocacy and how employees can assist in event awareness!
• Hannah Thorpe, Digital Marketing Specialist at Whitenet, will present on how event success can be measured.
The Format
Teams will be formed after registration and a case will be presented to each team. The cases are real problems faced by a business and a non-profit organization. All teams will then have a limited timeline to discuss the problem and create a plan, and finally each team will have 2 minutes to pitch it.
