We'll look at everything from floats to CSS Grid, flexbox, and even custom properties — and how to start using the new toys right away, with a few lines of code, and without memorizing an entire specification.

About the speaker:

Miriam Suzanne is a web developer and user-experience designer, project-manager, author, speaker, and musician – working with OddBird, Teacup Gorilla, CSS Tricks, and anyone who loves open-source collaboration. She’s a co-author of Jump Start Sass, creator of the Susy and True web toolkits, and a regular speaker on topics from CSS layout and architecture to collaborative process.
