Bamboo & Banyans: Hacking nature for architecture

Dim Sum Labs member Felix will give a presentation about his observations at Honduras national botanical garden, Sri Lanka digital naturalism conference, India living root bridges, and Hong Kong.

This event kick starts a series of weekly meetups where we will explore builting living architecture, i.e. houses out of Banyan trees that fuse. This technique is also known as Baubotanik. We will regularly get together both at Dim Sum Labs as well as on-site in nature in Lantau.
