From their website:
The Guardian of the River
In the folklore of Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia, the Naga is a semi-divine serpent that dwells in the depths of the Mekong River. It is a powerful protector—guarding temples, bringing rain for the harvest, and bridging the human world with the spiritual realm.
For us, the Naga represents the connection between our three cultures. Just as the Mekong flows through these nations, binding them together, our menu brings together the distinct but related flavors of the region.
A Chef's Vision
A Michelin-recognized chef and 2019 Eater Atlanta Chef of the Year, Chef Thip Athakhanh brings decades of culinary passion to Naga Bistro. Her vision: to share the bold, soulful flavors of her heritage with Atlanta.
Naga Bistro is a chef-driven destination—a place to slow down, break sticky rice with family, and explore the complex, celebratory dishes of Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia. It is the dinner table we always wanted to set for you.
The Trinity of Flavor
Padaek
The soul of Lao cooking. A fermented fish sauce that provides deep, savory umami.
Kroeung
The foundation of Khmer curry. A complex paste of lemongrass, galangal, turmeric, and lime leaf.
Khao Niew
Sticky Rice. More than a side dish, it is the utensil, the vessel, and the heart of the meal.
The restaurant has agreed to provide separate checks.
