The Continentals at The Hampton Beach Seashell Sunday May 25

Difficult to believe but Memorial Day is this Monday and the beaches and their summer activities are opening up for the season. As we posted previously, Hampton Beach has free concerts on the Seashell and this Sunday, May 25 at 7:00 P.M., The Continentals are playing. One of their members is Dave Ayotte which we follow regularly . They are an Excellent band that we saw last summer at the same place and they play a variety of rock that including many of our favorite oldies.

The concert begins at 7:00 and goes to 9:30 p.m. They will have a half hour break at 8:00 p.m. What we have done in the past is have dinner and/or drinks across the street at:
The Purple Urchin
for the first set and then head down to The Seashell Stage for the second set. Expect much dancing in front of the stage. We do have a problem : The Purple Urchin is only open for the season and has yet to open their doors to accept customers or make reservations. They should open this weekend and then we could make reservations or any of you can arrange to have dinner before the concert and meet us there.

There is no limit on the number of persons at the concert . There are bench seats and standing room and hopefully we'll try to meet up with as many of you who attend. There is metered parking and it may be limited so I would suggest you arrive early. The Concert is our favorite price:
