Real California Cruelty Action
Details
Please join us for a creative action aimed at raising awareness about the cruelty involved in dairy, particularly regarding aspects of the cruel “calf-raising” operations in California, like Hanford, CA’s Grimmius Cattle Co.
We’ll gather at Berkeley’s crescent lawn then walk to Downtown BART to advocate to residents and visitors. We’ll have a ten foot tall milk carton and please wear all black if possible!
WHEN: Noon, March 1st, 2026
WHERE: Crescent Lawn, Berkeley
WEAR: ALL BLACK clothing if possible
WHO: Everyone is welcome! However, please do not come if you have or recently had symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19.
ACCESSIBILITY: There will be some standing and walking. We’ll have a couple chairs on hand in case anyone needs to rest.
