Meetup: Grand Theft or Animal Rescue?

Four compassionate people entered a goat milk factory farm and saved the lives of two baby goats (Phoebe and Celia). The babies were sick with respiratory infections and likely would have ended up in one of the horrific (and illegal) dead piles at the facility. The facility was Vera Goat Dairy, a factory farm that supplies milk for the nation’s largest goat milk brand, Meyenberg, markets itself as “Certified Humane”. The only “humane” thing to ever happen at a Meyenberg supplier was the rescuers saving the lives of Phoebe and Celia!

Meyenberg should be held accountable for the suffering and death they cause to animals. But instead… the people who rescued the goats are the ones being charged.

- ARC West is a 30 minute walk from North Berkeley BART and only a 10 minute walk from the 51B bus stop at University and 6th St.
- Dogs that like other dogs are welcome at this event!
