Meetup: 1,500 Beagles Released - What Happened & What's Next

Over the past week, 1,000 beagles have been released from Ridglan Farms animal testing and breeding facility in Wisconsin. 500 more are being rescued over the next several days. This comes after nearly 10 years of campaigning against Ridglan by Direct Action Everywhere and several other animal rights organizations including Dane4Dogs, The Marty Project, Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and The Beagle Freedom Project. DxE organizer Zoe Rosenberg was on the ground in WI this week assisting in the rescue effort. Come hear from her about her experience, how the dogs are doing, and how this rescue came to be.

- ARC West is a 30 minute walk from North Berkeley BART and only a 10 minute walk from the 51B bus stop at University and 6th St.
- Dogs that like other dogs are welcome at this event!
