Meet the Beagle Experimenter Supplying your Local Pet Store

Many people have heard about Ridglan Farms, a “research” puppy mill the bred and sold beagles for cruel experiments. Now that activists and rescuers have secured freedom for the Ridglan dogs, attention is turning to the last remaining “research” puppy mill in the US, Marshall BioReources (MBR). MBR is much larger than Ridglan and also has its bloody hands in both the animal experimentation industry and “exotic pet” industry. This cruel facility breeds tens of thousands of beagles, pigs, ferrets, and other animals to be tortured in cruel experiments while at the same time selling ferrets to the pet stores and dealers, as well as treats and toys for ‘pet’ ferrets.

At this Meetup we will hear from Zoe Rosenberg and Kitty Jones about MBR, it's connections to the "pet" industry, and how we can help shut down the cruel facility.
Fresh coffee, tea, and a delicious plant-based brunch will be provided at the Meetup as well!
