How One Woman Shut Down the Last Animal Shelter Gas Chamber in the Country!

Did you know some animal shelters/control facilities use gas chambers to kill “unadoptable” companion animals? Well, they don't anymore thanks to Madhu Anderson, founder of Wyoming Against Gas Chambers!
At this Meetup Madhu will share the story of how she successfully eliminated the last two gas chambers in the country used at municipal animal control facilities.
In a world with so much cruelty and suffering we can often feel like we’re not making an impact. This victory is an important example of how our hard work and dedication,
even if we are just one person, does make a difference!
Fresh coffee, tea, and a delicious plant-based brunch will be provided at the Meetup as well!

When: Saturday, July 25th 11am-12:30pm
What: Community hangout and presentation
- ARC West is a 30 minute walk from North Berkeley BART and only a 10 minute walk from the 51B bus stop at University and 6th St.
- Dogs that like other dogs are welcome at this event!
- There will be plant-based brunch and coffee, donations accepted
