Lodi City Council Member Mikey Hothi will be the featured speaker at the Lodi Dems August monthly meeting. Topic: "Supreme Court and Newsom say, Clear Tent Encampments!"

Mikey has a special interest in the treatment of unhoused people. During his time on City Council he successfully passed policy to allocate resources to Lodi's first homeless Access Center, which will house over a hundred unhoused residents.

With new management poised to take over the Access Center, June guidance from the Supreme Court, and Gavin Newsom's sudden executive order to order to clear encampments, where will Lodi's unhoused people go?
