Escalante State Park Car Camp

Base camp at the group site at Escalante/Petrified Forest State Park on the shore of Wide Hollow Reservoir. Day hikes from trailheads on Highway 12 and the Hole in the Rock road with difficulty and destination depending on participant interests. Pot luck dinners and socializing in the evening. Number of signups are limited by parking and desirable tent sites.
