# Houndstooth peak -day hike - November 9, 2025
While we're waiting for snow to come, this may be the last good hiking day of the season. By special request from folks who missed last week's Houndstooth hike, here it is again. This is a short but steep hike starting from the Ferguson Canyon Trailhead and climbing 2700 ft in under 2 miles. If we get some snow later this week, I expect this trail will still be dry, unlike higher elevations. There is a short scramble at the top to gain the peak.
