Snowshoe/Ski & Snow Camp - Lily Lake, The High Uintas

We plan to snowshoe or ski (choice of each participant) and camp in Lily Lake in the High Uintas or somewhere, weather, conditions and situation permitting. Day 1 (Sat): Road trip (2 hrs), snowshoe/ski to the campsite (3 miles), and set up a campsite. Day 2 (Sun): Snowshoe/ski (up to 5 miles near the lake). Take down the campsite, snowshoe/ski to the TH (3 miles) & road trip (2 hrs). The area is flat and does not have any steep terrain above. Please email before Friday, 3 pm, March 6, for the meeting place and time. If you have never done any activity with the organizer or do not have winter camping experience, please email much earlier. Registration is required. WMC members only. Registrants will receive more detailed info including the gear list. If driving conditions are not good, the location may change to soewhere closer from SLC.
