Training: Pre-Season Anchor Workshop

Rock climbing season is approaching fast, and we're hosting a prep workshop on climbing anchors for those who want to learn or just have a refresher. We'll talk about some of the common anchor types found in the Wasatch, open vs. closed anchor systems, and some best practices for setting & cleaning. We'll start with classic single pitch scenarios, working into more modern systems and multi-pitch riggings. Casual / social learning environment just out of our house, so feel free to bring munchies to share. We'll have a number of bolt boards and hardware to practice with, but also bring any of your own kit you'd like to use.
