Discover Huntsville! is dedicated as a way for us who are new to the area, as well as those of us who have called North Alabama home to expand our social circles. These are causal events that offer an opportunity for members of this group to become more familiar and comfortable with the group and fellow members.

Our group serves the greater Huntsville, AL region. We welcome anyone -- all ages, single, married, new to Huntsville or those who have been here forever. Our common denominator is a desire to meet new people and participate in fun activities. If you're new to the North Alabama area or just looking for more activities and people with whom to share common interests, this is the group for you. Join us and you will make new friends and have FUN!

We encourage members to suggest and host activities which may include clubs, dances, happy hours, karaoke, coffee, movies, live plays, visit museums, art shows, sporting events, bowling, games, picnics, cookouts, house parties, and (almost) anything - whatever members chose to host. All members are asked and encouraged to plan & host other activities in between the monthly meet & greet.

Meetup does charge for being on their site. After attending a couple of events, if you decide to remain a member, as we hope and believe you will, we request a modest financial contribution to help cover the Meetup fees and other miscellaneous expenses.
