Sicily!

Hi Folks! For our next Tasting we will be heading down to Sicily! Sicily has so many fabulous wines I hope you can join us for this one. They have a range of wines as well. On the east side where Etna is located you will find a great red Nerello Mascalese which is often compared to a Burgundy (Pinot Noir). Also a Carricante which is a white that is crisp and clean with green apple notes and good minerality. The most widely produced red is a Nero d'Avola that usually is more full bodied. There are other whites and reds that we will discuss and try.

For this event we will have pizza and salad as well as other bites. We will taste 4-6 wines. The cost is $45. So that I know how much I have to spend on wine and how much I need to purchase, please RSVP (and send payment) no later than 9/25. I will close RSVPs at the end of the day.
This will be limited to 10 people and you can bring up to 2 guests - if you need more just let know and I will see if I can accommodate them.
