Jalama Wine Tasting Palm Springs

Hi Folks - Downtown Palm Springs has a boutique winery tasting room - Jalama that features wines from their vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills. Mark Cargasacchi is the winemaker and his family has owned the vineyards for many years. The first vines were planted in 1999. He worked with Fess Parker and Rideau Vineyards. He has a background in chemistry which has helped him in his winemaking. He uses native yeasts predominately in his wines.
Their wines are mostly Rhone Varietals with some Bordeaux. Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Petit Syrah.
Tastings are $25 and are waived if you purchased two bottles.
You will pay at the tasting - but please RSVP so I can reserve us a spot.
