Bordeaux Virtual Happy Hour

Hi Folks! Our next fun happy hour will take us to Bordeaux in France. Bordeaux is probably the most famous wine region in the world. It has a long history, and of course wonderful wines. The wines are usually blends and the whites are Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion typically. The primary red grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. We will go through the climate challenges, the famous AOCs, and producers of note.
The schedule is to start off with a bit of review of the region with slides and then to go into the happy hour part where we talk about the wines we are drinking and whatever else may be going on. It is always fun and we welcome first timers!
So please join us with a bottle from the region or a grape variety that is known to grow in the region.
Cost for non-yearly members is $3 and for yearly members ($15) it is free! If you sign up and aren't a paid yearly member I will message you instructions for payment.
The fees are only for the Meetup organizer charges of $500 a year.
