What we're about
Toastmasters is a program that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. We teach these skills through a network of more than 140 clubs located throughout central California, from the coast to the deserts. (Map). We are here to help you to improve your public speaking, presentation, and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth! The heart of the Toastmasters Program is the club experience. This is where a Toastmaster’s journey begins.

GOLETA VALLEY TOASTMASTERS IS A LONG STANDING CLUB OF 41 YEARS. The founder, Sherry Campbell, is still very active in the club. We are a diverse group of enthusiastic people that inspire one another to enhance our presentation in communication and leadership skills. We would enjoy having you visit us. Toastmasters is a place where you develop and grow - both personally and professionally. You join a community of learners, and in Toastmasters meetings we learn by doing. Whether you're an executive or a stay-at-home parent, a college student or a retiree, you will improve yourself; building skills to express yourself in a variety of situations. You'll open up a world of new possibilities: giving better work presentations; leading meetings - and participating in them - more confidently; speaking more smoothly off the cuff; even handling one-on-one interactions with family, friends and colleagues more positively.
