Moro Bay Wolfe Eels and San Simeon Elephant Seals!!

Spring vacation!! Going on a road trip taking the NAUTICARE truck camper up to San Simeon State Park to check out mini-van sized Elephant Seals on the beach and also do some diving in the Moro Bay area to spot some 8ft Robert DeNiro-looking Wolfe Eels in the kelp. We'll be camping from 3/26 to 4/2. Unfortunately, we won't be able to take passengers in our vehicle, but if you can arrange the transportation to and from, a DASC member who wants to put a tent on our site, since we're glamping, is welcome to the space for the entirety or part of our stay for a suggested club donation of $45.00. First one to call dibs gets it. Nice hotels in the Moro Bay area too if you don't want to rough it. Bring the family. They can snorkel and hike while we dive. Targeting the 3/28 weekend to shore dive (solo if I have to) sites like Spooner's or reserve a local 6-pack boat trip to deeper sites for ~$250.00 each if Animals show interest. If a serious waitlist develops, I'll go for a bigger boat or multiple trips...
