This Monday DIYBio.to welcomes you to our Meetups at Hacklab.to!
Join us for an evening filled with exploration of biotech, collaboration, and the joy of connecting with like-minded enthusiasts.
This coming Meetup May 6th, we will continue to explore some food biology and agar art projects. We will be cloning PCR products from one project to send out for sequencing this week. Bring in your beer sample, and we can PCR for microbes! We may also make some agar art with fluorescent bacteria.
At DIYBio.to, our mission is to bridge the gap between biology and the community, fostering a reciprocal relationship where people can reconnect with the wonders of biology. Operating in a neutral, open, and not-for-profit environment, we are dedicated to making biology accessible.
Who we are: Our community comprises biologists and enthusiasts, ranging from individuals with a keen interest to PhD-level scientists.
Code of Ethics: We adhere to the DIYBio code of ethics, as outlined on diybio.org.
Membership: If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to become a member. Come visit us, and let's engage in a conversation about DIYBio.to. Your journey into the world of DIY biology awaits!
And don't forget, on Tuesdays, DIYBio.to is also part of the Hacklab.to open house starting at 6 pm until late, complete with a PWYC dinner. Check out the details at: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/hacklab-open-house-tickets-466821263967
