Djembe Rhythm Circle and Social Beats

Welcome to the Djembe Rhythm Circle and Social Beats. This group is for anyone interested in exploring West African drumming, whether you are picking up a djembe for the very first time or have been playing for years. Our goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming space where we can learn the fundamentals of rhythm, practice different techniques, and eventually lose ourselves in the music together as a group.

We meet regularly to share patterns, support each other's progress, and enjoy the communal energy that comes from playing in a circle. There is no pressure to be perfect; the focus is really on listening, participating, and feeling the beat. After our workshops, we usually spend some time hanging out to chat and get to know one another.
